“If it wasn’t for their goalkeeper, it would have been 9-1, he was really good,” United coach Horst Malunat said. “ We are playing really well right now and we want to continue this going into playoffs.”

It was senior night in Winlock, as United honored Julian Sanchez, Santos Balbuena, David Van Vleck, Jonathan Van Vleck, Corbin Mansker, Thomas Campbell, Troy Struzan, Jonathan Foafoa, Carmen Robles and Aidan Cibrian. Malunat noted that he was able to get all of the seniors into the game.

W.F. West Falls to Tumwater

TUMWATER — W.F. West played well but was unable to generate enough offense as the Bearcats fell to Tumwater, 2-0, in an Evergreen 2A Conference boys soccer game here on Thursday.
