Saturday’s Women’s College Soccer: Tacoma Takes Down Centralia

TACOMA – The Titans were too much for the Blazers here on Saturday afternoon as Tacoma won 5-1 in an NWAC West Region women’s soccer game.
Tacoma scored two goals in the first half, with Hailey Sargent scoring unassisted just before halftime for a 2-0 lead at intermission.
Raquel Prado-Huerta scored on an unassisted goal in the 50th minute and Eva Maggie Brach added another unassisted goal in the 53rd minute.
Centralia didn’t allow a clean sheet on a goal by Chole Narolski in the 80th minute. Tacoma completed the scoring in the 85th minute on a Rylee Radford goal with an assist by Aoife Duffy.
Centralia goalkeeper Bethany Dinh made seven saves. Tacoma outshot Centralia, 20-3.
The Blazers (7-7-1, 6-5) host Pierce on Wednesday.
