2A Girls Basketball: Several Locals Crack EvCo All-League Girls Basketball Team

W.F. West, Rochester and Centralia are all represented on the Evergreen 2A Conference girls basketball teams.

W.F. West senior post Madi Haakenson and junior guard Annika Waring were named to the first team along with Rochester junior post Paige Winter.

Rochester coach Davina Serdahl was named a co-coach of the year along with Tumwater’s Robin Johnson. Black Hills’ Megan River was named the league MVP.

The second team has three Bearcats in senior guard Courtney Bennett, junior guard Maggie Vadala and freshman guard Drea Brumfield.

Rochester junior guard Lexi Sederberg-Jones and Centralia senior guard Danika Jensen earned an honorable mention.
