In doubles, No. 1 Bearcat duo Andrew Pak and Joseph Chung defeated Dayton McGuire and Brenden Brown, 6-1, 7-6 (7-1).
“They had a clean first set. They had unforced errors until they went to the tiebreaker and were really sharp during the tiebreaker,” State said. “They had a little bit of a let down. They had to come back to tie it up and were really played a sharp tiebreaker.”
Colin Flattery and Caleb Walters took down Black Hills’ Ryan Cokl and Kyle Lince, 6-3, 6-3. W.F. West’s No. 3 doubles pair of Christian Iverson and Jacob Blomdahl won by forfeit.
