Tuesday’s Track & Field: Adna Boys Take C2BL Track Meet

ADNA — The Adna boys captured the team title in a four-team Central 2B League Track & Field meet here on Tuesday.
Adna’s Brady Collins won the 100 meter race in 11.64 seconds, second in the 200 and was on the 4×100 relay team with Ashton Dowell, Aisan Ryan and Braden Thomas, winning with a time of 47.16 seconds.
Adna’s Austen Apperson won the 400 (53.25) and the 1600 (4:25.41) and was on the winning 4×400 relay team with Adam Mower, Dowell and Ryan with a time of 3:45.
Aaron Slape won the 800 for Adna with a time of 2:25.77 and Luke Wellander won the 110 hurdles (15.90) and the 300 hurdles (44.25). Bo Moon finished second in the shot put (134-04) and Zander Blankenship placed second in the high jump (5-08).
Pe Ell finished in third place as a team. Andrew Schulz won the 200 (23.48), long jump (20-02) and finished second in the 100.
Kaleb McCalden won the high jump (6-02) for Pe Ell and finished second in the 110 hurdles.
Ryan Shepherd finished in third in the long jump (19-04) and second in the triple jump (39-09).
Napavine’s Draven Riddle won the triple jump (41-04), placed second in the long jump and finished third in the 100 and the high jump.
On the girls side, Adna finished in second to Rainier. Carli Latimer won the 100 (13.62), the 200 (28.63) and was on the 4×100 (Rachel Burke, Tori Lange, Hannah Bilodeau) and 4×200 (Burke, Lange, Maddie Kleemeyer) teams that placed second.
Samee Jo Moon won the 800 (2:51) and Lauryn Apperson placed second in the 1600 (6:26). Morgan Trotter finished second in the discus (71-09) and javelin (92-07). Bilodeau placed third in the 100 (14.20) and 200 (30.49).
Napavine placed third as a team. Mollie Olson won the 100 hurdles (15.54), 300 hurdles (50.04), long jump (16-05) and triple jump (31-11).
Yoselyn Sandoval finished second in the 200 (30.47) for Napavine and Xoee Pope took second in the 400 (1:09). Chloe Stewart earned second in the 100 hurdles (17.29) and long jump (14-10).
Pe Ell’s Maggie Elliott won the javelin (104-10) and high jump (4-10) and finished third in the long jump and shot put. Alli Justice placed third in the 1600 and 100 hurdles.
Adna is back on the track next Thursday in Rainier at a C2BL meet.
