Monday’s 2A Girls Golf: Rochester Falls to Aberdeen

ABERDEEN — Rochester’s Nicole Fry led the Warriors with 14 points, but it wasn’t enough as Rochester fell to Aberdeen 94-47 in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match at Grays Harbor Country Club on Monday.
Rochester’s Allison Beagley scored 12 points and Mati Ashton added 11 points. Shelby Baird and Elizabeth Miller each scored five points and Alex Anderson didn’t score any points to round out the Warriors.
MacKayla Waltee earned medalist honors with 25 points for the Bobcats. Aberdeen’s Emily May scored 23 points for second place and Katie McGregor finished third with 18 points.
Rochester hosts Black Hills on Wednesday at Riverside.
