Monday’s 2A Boys Soccer: Centralia Drops W.F. West

Centralia scored twice in the second half to lead the Tigers to a 3-0 win over W.F. West in an Evergreen 2A Conference boys soccer game in Chehalis on Monday.
The Tigers scored in the 25th minute for a 1-0 lead, and added goals in the 42nd and 69th minutes to add insurance and secure the victory.
W.F. West added up to six yellow cards during the match.
“The game was a tough hard game, I’m glad nobody got hurt,” W.F. West coach Tino Sanchez said. “They kept their heads up high, it was tough to see the seniors go out this way. Hats off to Centralia, really sad moment, it just didn’t go our way.”
W.F. West ends their season at 2-11-2 overall and 1-9 in league play. Centralia (5-8, 4-5 league) will wrap up the regular season on Wednesday on the road against Tumwater.
