2A Boys Basketball: Tigers Crush Aberdeen 75-39

Hodges Bailey scored 29 points and Centralia whipped Aberdeen, 75-39, Wednesday night in Evergreen 2A Conference boys hoops action in the Hub City.
The Tigers led 41-18 at halftime.
“The guys really came out tonight and put a lot of pressure on them early,” Centralia coach Kyle Donahue said. “We got a lot of easy looks in our offense, and it really opened things up for us later in the game.”
Cale Shute added 10 points and seven rebounds, and Maninderjit Singh went 3 for 3 from long range to score 9.
The Tigers, as a whole, shot 14 of 24 from behind the arc in the win.
Jordan Thomas added 9 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals, and Layne Pertzborn added 7 points.
Centralia (9-5, 3-1 league) plays at Rochester on Friday.

T-Birds Too Much for W.F. West
TUMWATER — Brian Marty and C.J. Geathers combined for 39 points, and Tumwater beat W.F. West here Wednesday in EvCo boys action.
Dakota Hawkins led W.F. West with 19 points, and Brandon White chipped in 12. Bailey Cooper added 9.
Tumwater, however, led 18-10 after a quarter and kept its distance the rest of the way. Marty scored 20 points, while Geathers tallied 19. The Thunderbirds improved to 10-4 and 4-0 in EvCo play with the win.
W.F. West (7-7, 2-2 league) hosts Black Hills on Friday.
